ISBP2022

ISBP is a successful series of symposia on biopolymers that takes place every two years since the very first meeting in Toronto 1988. This 18th edition took place on September 13-16 2022 and was held in Sion, Switzerland, and organized by the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland and the University of Stuttgart.

ISBP2022 focused on (bio)polymers like polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA), cellulose, pullulan, cyanophycin, polylactic acid (PLA), and polyisoprenes (rubbers), but is also open for bio-based polymers like PEF and included inorganic biopolymers such as polyphosphate (polyP).
